Concert Chaos: Glendale Shooting Leaves Three Dead, Including Two Brothers
A Sunday night concert and car show in Glendale, Arizona, turned deadly when a fight between acquaintances escalated into a shooting, leaving three dead and five injured. City officials clarified the shooting wasn’t random but stemmed from a personal dispute.
The violence took place outside El Camaron Gigante, where a crowd had gathered for the event. A fight broke out during the gathering and worsened once it moved into the parking lot, where shots were fired, city representative Jose Miguel Santiago said.
Among the dead were a 17-year-old and two 21-year-olds. Police later confirmed that the teenager and one of the adults were siblings, correcting initial confusion about their ages.
The wounded included two young women, two young men, and a 16-year-old boy who underwent surgery. His prognosis is positive, with a full recovery expected. Officials confirmed all injuries were due to either gunfire or related debris.
Responding officers arrived around 7:45 p.m. to a chaotic scene involving hundreds of attendees. While multiple individuals were detained for questioning, no suspects have been arrested. No shots were fired by police or security.
Investigators are now focused on the number of shooters and the types of weapons used. This event joins a growing list of mass shootings in the U.S. in 2025, with over 90 incidents so far this year.
